Brendan Elliget is an Australian composer and arranger of over 40 years experience. He has an extensive catalogue of original works for Concert Band, Brass Band and Orchestra as well as a number of compositions and arrangements for smaller ensembles. A professional member of the Music Arrangers Guild of Australia (MAGA), Brendan is especially interested in arranging Australian music and folk music. His catalogue of works includes six Australian folk song medleys and over 30 arrangements of Christmas carols for full Concert Band. He also enjoys arranging music for the musicians at his local church. Brendan plays trombone in the Southern Peninsula Concert Band (of which he is a Life Member), leads a swing band known as the ‘Down South Big Band’, as well as playing French Horn with both the Eltham Concert Band and the Frankston Symphony Orchestra.
