The familiar theme from Beethoven's ninth symphony has been arranged for flute duet (two intermediate/advanced intermediate flute players). Each instrument leads and each instrument has freely composed music to accompany. The 1st flute finishes high in the 3rd octave with an extended cadence based on the opening five notes.
